The robot’s digital camera functions get a boost with the addition of video recording capabilities, which can make AIBO an effective watchdog; recording activities in the home while owners are at work or on vacation. The house-sitting abilities are limited however, as AIBO must remain in his charging station while in house-sitting mode. But it can still turn its head to effectively monitor a room.
